Recordings and snapshots are the picture size set under the main view (Size). For 1440p or 4K, choose 40 Mbps or more so detail holds up.
Sound
Sound is off.
Test tone 1 plays through ...Seeds’ audio engine; Test tone 2 plays the simplest way Windows can. If you hear 2 but not 1, tell me; if you hear neither, the sound card is busy or set to another output.
If you also use a DAW with an ASIO driver, it may hold the sound card so other programs can’t play. Close the DAW (or let it release the device), choose an output here, then press Restart audio. ...Seeds plays through Windows’ normal audio, so pick the speakers or headphones Windows uses.
MIDI
Choose which controller ...Seeds listens to. MIDI starts when you first use MIDI learn, a MIDI module or Clips notes.
Performance
The frame rate and CPU load are shown in the top bar. Drawn generators (Contour bloom, Geo composer, Strata…) are the heaviest part of a patch: redrawing them less often keeps everything else smooth. Draft quality makes effects and generators lighter. Recordings use the same settings.
Backups
Earlier versions of your patch, saved automatically. Restoring can be undone.

Drag from an output jack to an input jack to patch. The jacks on the right edge feed the main view and the recorder. Every slider has a small purple jack on its left for LFO modulation. Drag a patched input to move its cable, or drop it on empty space to unplug. Hold Option (Alt on Windows) and click while drawing a cable to bend it, or Option-drag an existing cable. Double-click a cable to remove it, or a module’s title bar to collapse it. Drag the background or scroll with two fingers to pan, and pinch to zoom. Shift-click or Shift-drag to select modules, then right-click to group them.
Control faders8Drag a fader’s jack onto a slider’s purple jack in any module. One fader can move many controls, and a control can take many faders. Right-click a fader to unlink.
